Yoga for You
The health and well-being of our community has always been a top priority, and we’re leveling up our protocol and safety standards! We’ve made changes to how we operate—all designed to keep our students, staff, and instructors safe. Here are all the changes you can expect. Please know that we will all need to be flexible and open to change as needed.
OUR HEIGHTENED DEEP-CLEANING PROCESS
Staff will use a disinfectant proven to kill viruses like COVID-19 in all common areas before and after check-ins—with a heightened attention to studio floors and all high-touch surfaces after every class.
After every class, we’ll disinfect doorknobs, handles, barres, light switches, sanitizing stations, bathrooms, sinks, toilets, benches, the front desk, keyboards, computers, phones, and instructor equipment.
We will no longer offer mat/towel rentals, locks for lockers, blocks or resistance bands. Please bring your own mat and towel.
Everyone, both staff and students, will be required to wear a mask in the studio at all times. Please wear your mask properly, covering both nose and mouth, at all times!
We will be following the CDC’s recommendation of 3 feet between people, which will significantly reduce the class capacities at all studios.
BEFORE YOU PRACTICE
Every staff member and teacher will check their temperature before their shift. When necessary, we’ll follow our elevated temperature procedures.
Your studio staff is here to help, from a safe distance. We’ve put a protocol in place that limits staff from leaving the front desk, aside from teaching. When absolutely necessary, staff will (safely) assist you. Our staff will all be wearing masks. This is to protect both you and us.
Because of the very limited number of spots available in each class, you must reserve your spot online. We can no longer accept walk-ins. **You are limited to taking one class per day. Please, no doubles. This is to allow everyone the opportunity to practice.
If a class is full, you can put yourself on the “waitlist”. You will receive an email or text notification if you have been added from the waitlist to the class if someone cancels their spot. (please be sure to enable text in your preferences on our app so you receive the notification!) If you are on the waitlist and have not received confirmation please do not come to the studio as we will not allow anyone to wait at the studio at this time. You must have a reserved spot to take class.
To allow as many students as possible to take class, we’ll be strictly enforcing our cancellation policy— you must cancel 24 hours in advance or you will be charged a $25 late cancel fee. (this applies to everyone!)
CHECKING IN
In order to minimize the amount of time and people in the studios, we ask that you arrive just 5-15 minutes before class.
With limited occupancy we cannot congregate in the lobby or locker rooms. We know it’s hot, but the extra convo has to happen outside so we can keep our numbers low.
Motion-activated stations will dispense sanitizer with a higher alcohol concentration. We’ll have one station at the practice room entrance, and one at the back door. Please use as you enter/exit the studio and the practice room.
Let staff at the front desk know when you arrive, and they’ll check in for you.
We will no longer accept cash. Please put a credit card on file for your account if you would like to purchase water or retail.
Our staff will work to get members in and out of studios, while maintaining social distancing practices. To help, floor markers will indicate a safe distance in the lobby and practice room. We ask that you avoid waiting for class in these high-traffic areas, and consider waiting outside or in your car if you’re comfortable and weather permits it. We have missed you all so much, but we will only be giving out air high fives and thumbs up for now. 6’ of space, even between friends.
We highly suggest bringing in as little as possible. The benches and hooks will be closed at this time, but you can bring your items into the room with you and put them right near your mat. If you do choose to bring your items in the room with you, we ask that you completely turn your phone off to avoid disruptions.
We strongly urge you to bring your own water or purchase from the studio.
DURING CLASS
The top of your mat must be lined up with one of the markers on the floor. No exceptions. Please stay on your mat during class and honor everyone’s space.
Once the studio door closes and class starts, we won’t be able to let anyone else in.
AFTER CLASS
Showers will be unavailable until further notice.
Please enjoy final savasana. And we do ask that everyone be cleared out of the studio 15 minutes after class to give us time to clean and prepare for the next class.
