Yoga for You
Starting Wednesday, February 6th, BYCF will offer Gentle Yoga each week. The Gentle Yoga class will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays, from 2pm to 3pm.
We strongly believe that yoga benefits everybody. Including (and especially) those who require a gentler introduction to the practice.
This distinctive series of postures, created by Rajashree Choudhury, is similar to Bikram’s Beginning Series. The session is intended to be a small-group/semi-private experience, so it’s a great introduction for anyone who feels intimidated by our regular (hot) 90-minute classes.
This one’hour class is conducted in a gently warmed (not hot!) room. It is safe for pregnant women, people with more limited ranges of movement, and anyone who is recovering from injury. A doctor’s permission for yoga is required.
